 Enjoy Different Wine Tastings

Swan Valley is home to over 40 different wineries, so it’s no surprise that wine tasting is one of the region’s most popular things to do. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or just starting to explore the world of wine, Swan Valley is the perfect place to expand your knowledge. Many of the wineries offer free tastings, so you can sample a variety of different wines without breaking the bank.

I visited three different wineries during my time in the Swan Valley and had a great time at each one. I enjoyed trying different wines and learning about the production process at Olive Farm Wines.

The red wines at Garbin Estate Wines were my favorites and I also bought a bottle to take home, While the Lancaster Vineyard is so cozy and offers appetizers with your wines that you don’t want to leave anymore.

Overall, I had a great time exploring the Swan Valley and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day trip from Perth.

The House of Honey is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. This family-owned business produces a variety of different honey products, from honeycomb to beeswax candles. The highlight of my visit was the honey & mead tasting, where I got to try different types of mead and all the different kinds of honey.

Mead is actually a wine made from honey and it was surprisingly good! For only AU$ 5 per person, you can try 5 different ones.

Enjoy a Floating Spa Session in the Swan Valley Retreat

The Swan Valley Retreat is a unique spa experience that combines floatation therapy’s benefits with the natural surroundings’ beauty. The retreat offers a variety of different treatments, from massages to facials. I opted for the one-hour floatation therapy session, which was incredibly relaxing.

I floated in a solution of Epsom salt and water, which made me feel weightless and totally relaxed. After my session, I felt refreshed and rejuvenated. If you’re looking for a unique spa experience, I would definitely recommend the Swan Valley Retreat.

The camera gear I used for this trip

I never go out without my camera and many people ask me which gear I use. So to make it quite easy, I listed all the gear I used for this trip below.

Most of the time, I travel with the Sony A7III and the Sony 24-105mm/f4 as my primary lens but depending on the location, I change to another setup. However, I love the Tamron 17-28 to shoot in the big cities.
